Been Awhile

It really has been awhile since I've written here hasn't it? Well, a lot has happened since then: I got a job, I started new classes, met some new people, got involved with a church, lots of stuff. I don't really have time to elaborate on any of that just cuz I'm in my english class right now and she gave us some time to work on homework. So instead of doing that, I'm blogging :-D

Anyway, it's been crazy busy here. From running around working to trying to find time to do homework to spending time with God, I think I'm gonna go nuts. I don't like running around and being all stressed out because of dumb things that I have to worry about. What makes it really hard sometimes is when I have a busy day and at the end all I wanna do is talk to Zay and I can't cuz my phone is empty on minutes and then I just wanna see her and yeah... it sucks. But I'm just complaining. I don't have reason to complain.

Today, I go in to get my uniform, ID, and clipboard for work. I'm working for Cox Communications, which essentially is a cable company. They're expanding into a ton of other stuff, but for now they deal primarily with cable/internet. I'm what they call a "Sales Contractor." Basically, I go door to door and try to sell people on the idea that they need cable/internet. If they already have it, I try to sell them on the idea that they need something better (digital cable or high speed internet). Cool part is I can work whenever I want. Not cool part is I work on commission, so I only get paid when I make a sale. But it'll be fun and I think I'm up for the challenge - we'll see right? Well, I gotta get going, class is about over. I'll try to write more later, no promises though.

Peace.

Me tutor?

So I was studying for my physics exam last night in the library at about 7:30 and I get a call on my cell (which I really should turn off cuz I'm low on minutes and I wanna keep as many of them as I can since I'm broke). Anyway, I get the call and it's one of my classmates asking for help. So I tell him to come to the library and we can work on the problems together. Turns out, I ended up coaching him through a lot of the problems and formulas. So apparently I'm okay to teach in a one-on-one or small group situation - and only when it involves math or physics. So now I'm thinking about tutoring for the school, but I'm not sure about the criteria just yet. I'll have to ask Prof. Owens what they would be. He's mah Physics prof. and a really kewl guy. He's a hunter/trapper... but then, everybody around here seems to be a hunter/trapper. The exam is today by the way. Wish me luck :o) I think I'll do fine though. It shouldn't be too much trouble. Plus I get to leave after I'm done. Woo!

Oh! Oh! It's supposed to rain today!! And not just rain, it's supposed to thunderstorm! Yeah! It's been almost 5 weeks since it hasn't rained here. I think I'm gonna go run around in it when it starts to come down. I haven't seen rain in a long time. Welp, gonna jet now. Wish me luck! Latah

Another Weekend Gone By

Well, another weekend has come and gone. This term ends the 23rd which isn't all that far away. It's weird to think that I've already finished a term here at Spartan. It doesn't feel like I've learned all that much academically this past month. I have however, learned quite a bit about how I handle people and their quirky personalities... especially my roommates. But hey, gotta learn somethin, right? hehe. I had originally planeed on going home the end of the term for those few days, but it looks like I can't afford to go because I can't afford to spend the gas money, which is really sad. I would have loved to have seen my baby bro (Josh) and my parents again. They're kewl people... even though they can frustrate me sometimes. But I love them anyway.

Speaking of said "L-word," it seems that Zay and I have undergone a new stage in our relationship. It's not a bad thing, in fact... I think it's maturing... which is really kewl. I look back on when we first started dating, compare it to now and I wonder where all the time went. It honestly doesn't seem all that long, but really... it kinda has been. We've both gone through a lot and somehow we still manage to discover new things about each other. Last night, I was talking with Zay and we were just sharing a few bible verses with each other - which I thought was totally stellerific. And since I was reading through Acts, she decided to start where I left off (Chapter 16) - so now we're reading through Acts together - wild stuff. Anyway, yeah... it seems like things are changing, but for the best.

Oh and I watched 50 First Dates last night and it made me think. I wondered if I could make a girl fall in love with me everyday because I cared for her that much. Then I started to wonder if I had to do that with Zay, could I? I didn't think I could but then I look at the lengths I go to just to see her and then I think... maybe I could. Zay, if you're reading this, please don't hit your head and lose your memory just to test me :-P

Well, that's all I got for today. Class is over now, so I'm gonna jet. Lataz.

Oh Blogger How I've Neglected You

Wow, it's been awhile since I've updated this. It says... 22 Aug. Oops... hehe. Anyway, there hasn't been much going on around here. I spent the weekend up at Taylor visiting Zay and friends. That was great... it was awesome to see everyone again. It kinda sucked that it was a short weekend, but it was good times anyway. I got to catch up a little with Michael, that was really good. He's changed quite a bit... and for the better :o).

I also got to catch up with Zay, which is really awesome. I definitely missed being able to talk to her. Which is why I need to get internet in my apartment... but first a job... yeah, still looking for one. It's tougher than they told you it would be to find one, but I hope to get one fairly soon. If not soon, I'm not sure what I would do. Oh well, I'll figure it out. I think I have some excess funds in my account that I may dip into for next months rent. We'll see how it works out. Anyway, so yeah... I got a new shift knob for my car cuz the other one was a "universal fit" shift knob, which was crappy. I have a GReddy Weighted Shift Knob now and it actually fits the threads, which is always a good thing. Anyway, I'm still just sitting here, I should be studying for my physics exam, but eh...

I think I'm gonna head back up home after this term just to visit and pick up some stuff. The term ends 23 Sept, which isn't all that far away. Just a couple more weeks and I'm free of math and physics... for now. hehe. I can't wait to start into my core classes though! Woo electronics theory. Anyway, I better get going. It's about time for me to leave and I'd like lunch today - while I study, heh.

Au revoir, j'écrirai plus plus tard.
