Guess what?

So you guys will never believe this but... my apartment got broken into again! haha. It's almost funny cuz... there's nothing in here. They got in through my bedroom window this time. Somehow they managed to take the screen off, break the window and waltz out of the apartment in broad daylight without anybody noticing. Does that make sense to anyone else? I mean, wow... I have a friend at work whose Integra got broken into a few nights ago too. They didn't take anything inside the car. Instead they popped the hood and took all the engine modifications they could. How jacked up is that? This city man... I tell ya... I need out of here.

In other news, I found out that Purdue accepts all of Spartan's credits (including the Avionics program) which is exciting since I've been looking at other schools to transfer to. LETU may or may not accept all my credits like gen eds and stuff like that, but I'm hoping that at least my Avionics core classes and the core curriculum can be accepted. Anyway, that's all the excitement in Tulsa. My finals are tomorrow, which should prove interesting and I'm parking my car away from this apt complex until I can get that security system installed, woo. hehe. But I gotta go. Things to do, stuff to fill out. Update again later.

I Hate Tulsa

So... as I arrived today from class I went to unlock my apartment door. I placed the key inside the lock and turned to unlock it. I saw that it was loose, indicating that it was unlocked. I then thought to myself, "That's strange, I thought I locked it." I opened the door and entered the premises and noticed that the sliding glass door was open. From that point I thought, "Oh no..." I walked to the sliding door and walked through. The center screen of the patio was cut. It wasn't obvious mind you. I had to walk to the screen and touch it... then I noticed that it was cut. My exact thought at that point was... "You've got to be kidding me." So I went throughout the apartment noting what was missing. I called my dad and asked if we had any renter's insurance. Turns out we don't. Stinky poop face. I called my roommate, Ken and told him that the apartment had been burglarized and that a lot of stuff was gone. And he came back as quick as he could. Then I called the police... they took their time as usual.

Among the items stolen were: my xbox & games/accessories, my cd case (over 200 cds), my family's camcorder (I was very irked about that), and only one of my movies. My roommate was not as fortunate, his computer was stolen (monitor and all), his gun (colt .45!!), his ps2 & games/accessories, and his gamecube & games/accessories. I should also mention our rent money for the month. Nice huh? I hate living here. This happening has made me want to leave even more. But I can't. I've already invested a year in Spartan and it would be stupid to quit now. All told, there was well over $8k of stuff stolen. I'm glad I drove to class today... anyway, so that's my update. Stupid llamas... but at least my computer wasn't stolen and the modem and router are intact ^_^ so I'm happy for that. Always something to be thankful for, hehe. Take care all.

Labor Day Post

I decided to post tonight because I probably won't have a chance to post again until Tuesday-ish. If I'm not too tired that day. I'm going to see Zay this weekend! It's going to be an exciting fun time. I'm definitely looking forward to it, hehe. Oh, I was made aware today that I haven't ever posted my address. For those of you who wish to send me mail or even small boxes. Shoot, if you feel motivated... very large boxes filled with candies and little trinkets would be utterly amazing and most appreciated :-P Moving on to serious matters, my new address in Tulsa is:

Sopeak Duch
10948 E 61st ST Apt 1116
Tulsa, OK 74133

Now that that's out of the way, send stuff! As I'm sure most of you understand and know firsthand, mail is a rarity to college students and most welcome, especially from friends and loved ones ^_^ Speaking of which, I need to send some stuff to my parents and family. But anyway, I've been kinda/sorta packing and cleaning up a bit. I haven't gotten very far and it's 1 in the morning :-P Tomorrow will be a good day, hehe. It'll be long, but I think in the end.. I'll be happy. I think because I'm supposed to meet this strange girl that keeps calling me. She sounds kewl, so I'm looking forward to meeting her. I mean, who knows? Maybe we'll be friends and date or something :-P man, I'm a dork. Well, to bed for me now. I still have class tomorrow and then gotta pick up my check really fast and then off to Indy-ish area... welp, G'night!
